I'm trying to use unzip on a file which is approx. 2,5gb.
Keep getting this message:

root@aix-machine:/backup # unzip file.zip
unzip: cannot find file.zip, file.zip.zip or file.zip.ZIP.

I have tried with 2 different versions of unzip and both give me this message.

Any suggestions?

Looks like you might have a corrupted zip file. Did you use ftp to place this file? If so, be sure to use binary to transfer it again.

I want to be good, is that not enough?

I tried again using the binary-mode in ftp, but got the same message.
Is there any file-size limitations of unzip versions 5.40 and 5.50?

Just a thought, have you tried unziping this using Windows unzip utility?

Regards,
Khalid
