Hi all,
have a Matrox G450 dual head video adapter,
have an older Apple monitor as a secondary monitor,
use Windows 2000.
Now the problem: on the apple monitor, I receive no signal, not even at boot-time; I can configure dual head settings and spread the display over the two monitors, but I won't see anything on the apple monitor (that means I can drag my windows into a black box, haha).
Note: 1) the monitor is ok, as it works fine as a secondary device when connected to a second graphics adapter on Windows ME (with a custom monitor.inf file)
2) the Matrox card is ok, with two non-Apple monitors it works fine.
Is it possible to have something like a custom .inf-file in Windows 2000 as I used with ME? Or how can I manage to not throw away either the monitor or the Matrox card?
Any help appreciated,
Ingo
