I wonder if anyone can shed any light on the following problem. We are trying to upgrade an existing 4.1 set up to NG AI R55. Our test set up works perfectly, failover is fine, state sync etc. all as we would expect. We are using two Nokia IP650s, with a Solaris 9 manager.
The method used in the upgrade was export all the config off the live firewalls and import to the new ones in the lab, then upgrade the IPSO and Checkpoint. (Current IPSO: 3.5 FCS22, upped to 3.7.1 FCS10, current Checkpoint 4.1 SP6, upped to NG AI R55 HFA05).
After swapping the hard drives, all is fine for maybe an hour (and this is not a tcp timout issue as there is loads of traffic) but then everything seems to stop- mail, web, GUI and CLI access to the Manager. There is nothing in the logs to indicate what the issue is, so we have had to revert to the 4.1 set up. Any suggestions?, as we are a bit stuck right now. Thanks.
