It's currently running Cognos 7 on Windows Server 2003. Please take note i am total newbie when it comes to the configuration. Would appreciate if someone could point me to the right direction to solve this problem.

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

Dear Stefan,

Thanks for your response. I don't have that running. however i think it's not necessary to install the Sun Java System Directory Server right?

Regards,

Well, your server is trying to validate against a directory server, so i asume you will need it:
"Error: The directory server 'CARTWEB01:389' is not responding."

You could also configure your configuration manager agianst the sample lae file that Cognos comes with.

Stefan
