After installing SP2 my Norton Antivirus and Belkin USB wireless network card do not start reliably upon system boot.

The WIRELESS NETWORK CARD fails to automatically connect with the wireless router, but I can usually get it to connect manually.

(Belkin tech support said to turn off the firewall and install the latest drivers. That didn't change anything.)

NORTON ANTIVIRUS usually starts with a red X through the icon (i.e. doesn't start). The only way to start it is to reboot the PC. On the 2nd boot it usually works.

Since these 2 problems are so similar, I thought there might be a single fix for it. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

John

What version of Norton? After I installed SP2, my Norton was messed up, so I contacted Symantec. Their advice: "Older versions no longer supported - upgrade to new version". Whoopie!
