I have a server running NT 4.0 SP5 and have configured a number of folders as sharable

When I try to connect to these shared folders from a W95 client I get an error message

\\<sever name>\\IPC$ requires a password

I can connect to the same shared folders from a W2000 fine

What do I have to setup on either the NT 4.0 box or on W95

Thanks

Bill,
Does your 95 client have client for networks installed? if not install it. if it's already installed go into your network neighborhood select client for microsoft networks and go into it's properties check the log into domain and specify the domain name. If all of that is setup you have create a user id on the server i.e yourname and password and log in to the 95 client using the same UID and password

Jmandiaz is right...
if you get \\<sever name>\\IPC$ error , you just have to create user id in Nt server and log in to 95 machine with same user ID .
That should take care of it...
