Problems running webi docs or creating new

All of a sudden I can't run any webi docs or create any new webi docs in my BOXI R1 environment. When I click on a report or a new universe, it spins for a while and then it says "could not initialize report engine server". I have restarted all the servers and rebooted the windows server and it still isn't working. (It was working previously). What could have broken it and how can I resolve? I have a ticket open with BO, but haven't heard anything yet.....
