I am running the Microsoft Remote Desktop Client on my Windows 98 SE PC and accessing a Windows XP Pro Machine. I am able to log on just fine, but I constantly receive the following error messages:

"MSTSC
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.

If the problem persists, contact the program vendor

MSTSC caused an invalid page fault in
module MSTSCAX.DLL at 015f:6a63090f.

OR

"REMOTE DESKTOP DISCONNECTED
Because of a protocol error detected at the client (code )x1104), this session will be disconnected.

Please try connecting to the remote computer again"

And then I get kicked off. I am able to log back in, but a few minutes later I will receive one of these messages again...

Does anybody have any idea what would cause this???

Thanks for your help.
