problems running database utilities

I have been trying to run the db utilitied for Arcserve 2000 for about a week. The erros I get are as follows.
unable to open directory for database dbfix_t repairing process for database has been prematuraly terminated due to : internal dbrepair error:-6003.

Unable to start database consistancy check error 39.

I have reinitalized the databases but still get the same errors I have also restated the server.

That is an internal Raima error. You should contact CA to see if they have a solution.

Need some help in running any db utility

- can't seem to log in - what is the correct server name,id and password? tried many combinations, unable to execute.

- would like to run a dbcheck

If still have any problem , Try replacing Arcserve Database
with Blank Database . call Ca tech support ( 866 422 2774 )
And get blank DB and replace ...............it should work

Install ARCserve on any other system (tape drive not needed) and then you will have a blank database to use.

Delete the contents of the current database directory and then copy over the one from the temp installation.
