Problems rotating "Effect"-ed text items 1

Hello
Does anyone know how you can rotate text that has been warped using the ARC effect for example, without the image being distorted? I have tried to rotate the warped text, but at various angles the text warp changes according to the angles. I thought that maybe i could rasterise the image, but it doesn't come out well (jaggedy and pixelated).
Its a shame because non-text items (ie, images) appear to rotate perfectly well. Any suggestions?

Warping is an effect, effects change when you rotate.

First see that you have the effect the way you want it.

Select the object with the black arrow, then go the Object menu and choose "Expand appearance".

When you rotate the effect will not be altered.

But you can't change the effect anymore, therefore I first make a copy before expanding.
