I am trying to read Backup Exec media on a W2K media server.
I have installed NBU 4.5 MP6 and the BE Tape Reader, no Backup Exec s/w existed on this server, it was a new server.
I am using a stand-alone DLT8000 drive for this testing.
When I run the bephyinv -m BE0001 -h voldb_host, it asks for BE0001, I assign the drive, but is then fails with "Unable to read header of media ID BE0001".
beconv gives the following error
Could not covert BE0001. Null GUID in volume record
It is a valid BE media, and has a header on it. I have checked it out on BE server.
Has anybody any ideas to help me out.
