Are there any special instruction for programming a dn to accept a fastrad to dial into the rad unit instead of a direct connection. The only thing that i can come up with is that it needs to auto answer and needs to be an unsupervised line.

what are you trying to do?
do not understand ur question

You don't do anything to the DN the fastrad is connected to to get it to answer-

You have to get into the RAD programming (Feature 9**) and tell it what line to answer.

Hope this helps.

cant dail the ext to access the device must iether be a trunk answer or a operator assist or a hokey ata back feedin a trunk to be answered by the ata

6 months until ski season starts...sadly i must resign myself to the warmer weather"this will include a normal 8-5 work day, 5 days a week"

Thanks norstarguy, that is exactly what i needed to know. I remember seeing something about a line option when I entered the f9** to program the 10 digit password. I will try the line assigned to that dn number, as soon as I can. Thanks to all.

If you want to pass thru a DN, install an ATA on a free port, plug the Out of ATA on a Line Trunk Card and set the RAD to auto answer this line.... that's it !!

Hope this Help.... ^_^
