I've created a report in access 97 and in order to get the formating I needed, have used the on-print and on-format events for different sections of the report. The report prints fine when it is printed using docmd.openreport "Report Name", acnormal. If I print it from print preview, I get big gaps in the report.
I have tried this on both XP and NT with two different printers. Any suggestions?

Access uses the local printer information when formatting reports and stores it so switching to other machines and printers may make the problem look worse than it is. Pick a machine and printer and troubleshoot the report with that setup only. Whenever you change printers you may need to tinker with the report to solve the problem.
