Hi

This is a long shot but you never know!

I work for a large organisation and we have many Lexmark Optra Color 45N printers located in the building. Almost every Adobe (pdf) document we try printing comes out all garbled. It prints the contents of the document but the text is written over each other, headings are skew (pointing about 60 degrees instead of being straight!) etc.

Basically its a mess!

I tried printing to a much larger printer (Lexmark C912) and although the results were better it was still not right.

Hmph!

Has anyone had this problem before? If I print it to a black and white printer (Konica) it prints fine!

Perhaps its a driver issue?
I cant see any obvious settings on the printer either!

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Dont know if these printer settings would help this situation but you could experiment with sending true type as bitmaps and sending graphics as raster.

Thanks Cornfalkes!

Would you believe the answer was to tick "print as an image" checkbox!

Woohoo..

Thanks for your help!...SOLVED

glad you solved it, thanks for posting back the solution-maybe it will help someone else out down the road.
