Can anybody help me? I have received several Quark files recently which I can't open with my copy of Quark Xpress 4.1 and I have discovered they have been produced using Quark Passport 4.0. Is this correct that I can't open them, and if so, is there any solution to the problem?

Problems opening Quark Passport Files

You need either Quark Passport or whoever sent you those files needs to resave them not as Passport files. When they do a Save As they will have an option to save the Quark files not a Quark Passport file.
We use to have Quark Pass port - - got rid of it because of the problems you are having.
