Hi, I have 2 mitels interconnected by SIP trunk and each connected to Ericsson using an ISDN card, everything works properly except when an external call on a bp, you pick, is retained and transferred to an extension of the other mitel. When you hang up the extension before the bp external call that has the external call receives a 127 error msg unexpected interworking of mitel and send a msg to the public network congestion jumping speech co-management for the operator. The mitel seems to send a msg 30 as a normal call clearing when it should send a 25, you can adjust these msgs in the mitel? Which could be modified to use a coding standard (ETSI).

thanks for the help

In Digital Link Descriptor form Inhibit Sending Mitel Specific Info set this to yes to send less info

In System Options options DPNSS/QSIG Diversion Enabled select Yes if the problem is manifesting when a forward/divert/re-route is in place

Or a combination of both

Thanks for the help, now the BP still receive the error message but not send the congestion message to the operator.

Another question you know how Mitel is reset to factory settings?

thnx

What full reset?
A full software installation is really the only way to reset to factory default.
You can just drop the call control database with a simple command and reboot but it retains many settings in the ESM.

It depends on what you are trying to achieve I suppose.

If the Mitel show a serious failure, return the Mitel to factory defaults or as to close to it to try recover.

Thanks for the help

As long as you have a recent backup/datasave then you should be able to perform a full software installation which will reset the system to factory default.
You will then need to download or sync the licenses from the AMC to the controller and then perform a data restore.
Both of these can be performed at the same time as a full install if you are using the software installer tool.

What software version are you on? This was reported here and this was changed in sw 4.0SP3 and 4.1SP2.

We have 4.0 10.0.013_1
what tool we need for full software install?
can we do it with the AMC or Mitel web plattform?

thnx for all.

Download 4.0SP3 from MOL and in the TOOLS directory there is a Software Installer Tool. As you stay om 4.0 you will not need access to the AMC

Thanks for the help has been very productive.

Thanks
