Problems migrating from exchange 5.5 to w2k.
I have created a testing environment using a windows2000 with exchange server installed and a WinNT server running exchange 5.5 both servers are domain controllers. The 2 servers have different domains, hostnames and IP's.
How do I go about migrating 5.5 to 2k. So far all my tries have failed, AD is properly installed on the 2k servers. I have tested the windows 2000 server to my live network and it works well as a DC and exhange server, my only problems is that I need to transfer all the users and mailboxes from our 5.5 server.
The current problem that I'm having is that when i try to trust the domains I get an error saying that 'the domain controller was not found'.
Any Ideas on how to go about this project?
