We have some users trying to connect to our Nortel contivity box using the Nortel IP VPN client v 4.86.

They connect and authenticate OK but are then immediately disconnected with the error message:
"The Server's Certificate has been revoked, or could not be validated. Please check with your remote access administrator. The Connection has been terminated".

I have tried installing a new user and server certificate on the client, and removed and reinstalled the contivity client software but nothing has worked so far. Has anyone encountered a similar problem as it is driving me mad.

Thanks

Have you checked your Contivity gate's Certificate valid dates? What are the dates on these user's computers? And the date on your Contivity?

Are you using a PKI Infrastructure? If you do, check the certificate against your CA.

Let me know how you do.

I have checked the certificates both on our CA and the contivity and they are fine. Indeed, many of our users are connecting and logging on just fine, that's why it is so frustrating.
