Problems logging in

Hello.

I have a windows xp pro laptop which is part of our companies domain. The laptop is refusing to logon now though for some unknown reason. The user is a remote user and logons on and then VPNs into our server to check mail, access files etc. This has worked fine for several weeks but yesterday it not says "The system could not log you on, please check your username and password and try again". The password and username are correct, the password was changed 2 weeks ago so it hasnt expired yet, the account isnt locked out in AD. Help!
 
Does the user still have remote access enabled on their domain account? Have you tried resetting the password anyway and trying that? Did any other home workers expereince the same issues?

Hello.

Yes the user does still have remote access enabled in there user account, we logged in as the local admin and created a VPN to test the user account.

No other home users have reported this problem....yet!

I will try resetting the password.

Have you tried logging into the network as the user from within the corporate network(ie not thtrough the VPN?)
