This seems to be a common issue with this router (have done numerous search on the net) however I have yet to find a definitive answer that solves the problem (while I have tried many). Even calls to the LinkSys level 2 support proved un-enlightening.
I've reset the router (pressed in the reset button for the required 10 secs, has the latest firmware), setup a VPN client account (at which point the router does it's "Need to change IP's not to conflict" thing; does a 10.x.x.x IP change), downloaded and installed the latest QuickVPN s/w to the client PC (the s/w that comes on the CD doesn't work at all), I start up the QuickVPN session and I get a message that the certificates don't match and get asked if I want to continue. I keep the connection at which point I see "Applying policy" along with some other really fast dialogs and then "Verifying network..." which just sits there. I never get a connection, I couldn't ping any of the devices on the other side, nada.
Anyone know what is going on with this router?
TIA
