Hi

My customer wants to install debian for Powerpc on logical
partitions of an IBM p690 Power4 and one IBM p570 Power5 as part
as an iniciative to port SAP to Open Software.

I've downloaded the Debian 3.1_r2 DVD from Debian.org and tried
to boot from them without success. After some reading i have
ended up getting into Open Firmware and using the boot command
in order to tell the server to boot form a given vmlinux kernel
using yaboot.

I have a problem, cause when boot starts form the /install/yaboot
it looks for a yaboot.conf file, and in the DVD distro there's a
yaboot.con file (not the .conf file). My question is how can i
install from DVD to pSeries Servers.

Thanks in advanced for your help
