Problems Installing Adobe Acrobat

Hey.. sorry if this question's stupid but I'm having problems installing adobe acrobat reader. I followed the instructions first by extracting the .gz file. Then typed: ./INSTALL

But for some reason I'm getting this:

"ERROR: No configurations found... aborting."

I'm still a newbie and trying to migrate over to linux from windows so I'm trying to get myself accustomed to installing stuff.. familiarizing with directories.. etc.

Sounds kinda strange, as if there was a bug in the script.

I have Adobe Acro-reader installed on my Linux box (just to see if non-suid could induce an error).

If you have it, I want you to md5sum the file. Here's my file's sum.

2bb26e2e2f25cefe4ba336ba3309ab7d linux-ar-405.tar.gz

If all else fails, re-download the file, or use GV.
