Problems in sort of a table frame object (Oracle Base)

When i access an oracle table under pdx 8 or 9
using a table frame object,
and if the "Code" field contains some numéric and alpha values,
then the view on table dunot work ... if u use the scrollbarr
then the rows reorder themself .. in bad order :>

I dunot know how to get it work

I have try BDE oracle driver and somes ODBc driver ...
olways the same

any help is welcome

First off, I confess that I have zero experience with Oracle.

However, if this is occuring with a view, then it sounds like your working with what Paradox considers is a remote table. (Remember that views are processed on the server and the results are then sent to the client.) As far as BDE/Paradox is concerned, the server is doing the work.

This can be significant because actions against remote tables lead to SQL queries run against the server. This includes scrolling, sorting, etc.

You may find it easier to run a query against your view and pull the data locally. If you need to update, you'll need to use separate queries or calls to relevant stored procedures.
