Hi there,

I have an Access 2002 database that I use for financial reporting. the database primarily imports certain tables from an informix 5 database.

I can easilly import any table I wish withing Access XP (Except the main financial tables). However I get no error when I import the same tables into Access 97.

The error that I receive is as follows:
"The decimal fields precision is too small to accept the numeric you attempted to add".

I have changed my regional settings to use 9 decimal places by default (doesn't help). I have also checked all settings within Access XP to no avail.

Any light you may be able to shine on this would be greatfully received.

Thanks,

SunTsu
