problems getting css to put a footer at the bottom of a page..

I'm working with a store page, so the length of the page changes all the time, and I can't figure out how to keep the footer at the bottom of the page.

Here's a sample store page.. you can see the footer crowding at the top of the page :/


any help would be much appreciated!! :)
 
I don't want to sound nasty, but your code is a unique mess of thousands of nested tables and weird css positioning. I admit I am afraid to look into it what is causing the problem. You are using a simple header&footer + 2 columns approach so I really see no need for so many complication within the code. I am sure there is a way to simplify it. Try using one approach, either CSS or tables, not both.
 
Unfortuantelly all those nasty table tags are the result of the storefront that we use. Antyhing in uppercase I cannot edit.

basically, I can only edit anything inside those boxes...
