I currently export an MS Acess crosstab query into excel spreadsheet, in order to calculate total hours worked by each employee, every week. Time format within each field is similar to numbers e.g, 0.32869213. Formatting 0.32869213 into short time within excel, hh:mm, equals 7:53 (7 hours 53 mins).

Here is where i ran into problem, once an employee works more than 24 hours in a week, say 30 hours, the total column, which is the sum of daily hours, goes to 00:00, when formatted within excel. I have tried changing my query, within access, and tried different data types, time formats, nothing works.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Thanks.
