Problems exporting to Excel

Hi All,

Using Crystal 8.5, but the option to export to EXCEL is not there. From reading other threads I found the dll I need, but cannot work out where it should go to make the export option appear.

One thread recommended C:\Program Files\Common Files\Crystal Decision\2.5\bin.

I do not have this my path starts c:\Program Files\Seagate Software.

Any ideas?

Dear Sambo8,

The dll should go into your c:\Windows\Crystal\ directory.

If you do not have a C:\windows look for c:\winnt

Hi Rosemary,

Many thanks for your help, unfortunately I'm still not getting the option to export to excel.

I copied the dll u2fxls.dll into the C:\WINNT\Crystal file but this didn't work. I have got the correct dll haven't I?

Thanks for your help rosemary, I've tried everything on the list, i've re-installed crystal and Excel and have copies of the dll's in every possible folder and still no luck....

If anyone has another suggestion - please let me know.
