Forgive me if this sounds dumb but I can't find anywhere the option to eject the tape once a backup has finished. I'm running Win2000 Server with an HP SureStore SCSI tape drive. I can look in the logs and see that it is backing up ok - I just can't suss out how to eject the thing automatically once the backup has been completed. Thank you in advance! I

I am new to tapeware software as well but found the solution under properties for the backup, options tab, then click advanced.

Yea, I know this one (I may not know much!)

Shut the server down, and while the server boots up (the bios phase) press and hold the eject button) This is considered the "emergency eject system"

It would have to be an emergency to shut the server down I say!

cuda45, the process you described is how to perform OBDR (One Button Disaster Recovery.) That is not the normal process to eject the tape after a backup. If I knew what it was at this point I'd tell you, but I don't. I'll see if I can figure it out in a bit.
