My data appears when i only place 1 tables data on my report. But when i add a field from my other table, my data disapears. Will crystal only allow data from 1 table? so i cannot use multiple tables in my report? My database has 3 tables and in my report i need to pull data from all 3 tables and i am running vb6.

Hi, If the link fails to return any data from the second table( in the visual linking expert, the one on the right), and you are using an Equal Join ( the default) then no data will appear in the report..

If you are sure the linked fields are the same type then use a Left Outer join..

In the Visual Linking Expert ( under the database menu item), right-click on the link(s) and select Left Outer..
