Yesterday , I tried to make emergency disks from the second box that we have.
the box was up and running .
I issued a command > init s
the system got frozen , then I pressed the reset button , power off the machine, when I tried to startup , it can with this error message
"Warning: msgcnt 1 vxfs: mesg 017 vx_dirlook - / filesystem inode 48521 maked bad" , I look up on the net , the solution is umount and run fsck, but my problem is that I don't have a # prompt , the only place where I see prompt is when it interupt the boot , then i get [boot]
