I am trying in OS X to connect to a Windows 2003 domain server. After going to Hard Drive, then Network, I am able to view all of the servers and clients in the domain. After double clicking on the one which I would like to connect to, I am prompted to type in a username and password for the domain, which I have tried several times to no avail. I am notified that the server that I am trying to connect to no longer exists, or something of the sort. I know that the server is responding because I can get to it just fine from other Windows PCs. How can I get around this strange problem? Thanks for any help.

Try going to Finder, Go, Connect to Server and type in cifs://servername or smb://servername.

You can also join the active directory domain though HD, Applications, Utilities, Directory Access, Active Directory and configure your 2003 Active Directory information there.

Can also take a look here.
