Problems connecting to systemstate after updating to BE 11d SP2

Hi,

we have a small BE installation which was just running fine ... until now.
We upgraded to BE11d which was running fine according to the log.

After that I pushed Remote Agents to all client servers and rebootet them.
Installation was successfull.
But now we get the error that we cannot connect to the systemstate anymore:

"\\<server>\Shadow?Copy?Components
V-79-57344-33932 - Unable to attach to a resource. Make sure that all selected resources exist and are online, and then try again."
Unable to attach to \\<server>\System?State"
Same for \\<server>\Shadow?Copy?Components

What I have recognized is that this only occurs on systems (Windows 2003) without any SP.
Servers with installed SP1 or SP2 are getting backed up almost fine.
Help would be really appreciated

edit selection list and remove system state and shadow copy components in GUI and in SElection list detail (text) and save the selection list.

Then go back in and reslect system state and shadow copy on that server.

thanks for the answer!
Unfortunately it does not work.

Even creating a complete new selection list does not work.
Alway when trying to select Systemstate and Shadowcopy there is a error message saying that it is not possible to connect to VSS.

Any ideas?

P.S. I know BE since version 8 but 11d starts getting on my nerves...

Yes check the app/system log on that server and check for volsnap or vss error

make sure VSS is running and volsnap services.

VSS is running.
Event Log just says following:

"Event ID: 2003
<wins> (<PID>) Shadow copy 2 freeze stopped. "
<lsass> (<PID>) Shadow copy 3 freeze stopped. "

But it is just an information.
