Paradigm is a front end to a database running on the AS400 that has been installed on one of our Citrix XP servers.

Error Message:
Item cannot be found in the collection corresponding to the requested name or ordinal. Source Funtion:

I only get this error on a couple of machines. Everyone else runs the application fine. Its not user specific, I can go to another workstation and logon as one of the users whose workstations have the problem and they can run the application fine. I have done some comparisons between machines and can not find any differences.

Client config: ICA Client v6.20.985(128-bit SSL), Win2K Pro SP3, IE6.0 SP1, MDAC 2.6 SP2.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jamie

I've never used Paradigm - but this doesn't sound specific to that application. Maybe Filemon will tell you exactly which "Item cannot be found". You can get Filemon from Run it on the client machine (if it's not a thin client, of course) before you run the app. After the error appears, save the log and open it as a CSV file in a spreadsheet, such as Excel. You can then sort the data and this may give a clue.

I hope this helps CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk

Have you made the proper ODBC settings on the Citrix server ?

The solution that CitrixEngineer gave worked for me. It was looking for the file msdart.dll

It was on my hard drive but not in the location that it was looking for.

Thanks for your help to all,
Jamie
