Problems connecting to a secure web site

I hope someone can lend some advice to me.

I am trying to connect to a secure web site from home. It is an HTTPS site. I can connect to it from work (the reason I need it). but at home, I cannot. At home, I am using both IE and Mozilla. I am attached to a router and then to a cable modem. Could I be having trouble with the firewall in the router?

Any suggestions would be appreciated
