We're migrating from McAfee to Symantec Antivirus. I've scripted removal of McAfee but we're concerned that removing the client *first* will leave users unprotected in the event problems arise during the the installation of Symantec. The thought we had was to install Symantec first and *then* remove McAfee afterwards but I was wondering if there were any known issues with having both clients installed on a system simultaneously. Thanks in advance for any information.

I just discovered a client with both running today. Seems to be doing OK. I went the opposite direction in our Singapore Office, replaced Norton with McAfee. When I installed Mcafee Norton was automatically uninstalled.

Since in todays case, McAfee was installed first, it probably doesn't work the other way around.
