When buying a new printer but using same printer port, I'm used to just go on to the print server(NT4.0 sp6a) an click properties for the printer and change driver on the first side. But from time to time, some of the clients will not get the new info, but is holding on to the old printer driver, as nothing was changed. I have tried to delete the printer and add new network printer on the clients with problems, also I have tried to restart the spooler service on the print server, but still some of the clients is holding on to the old printer and will not see the new printer from the print server. Any ideas how to get the clients to see changes on existing printers?
