Veritas NetBackup BusinesServer 4.5
I am new to this area so please excuse any stupidity displayed.
I have installed the UNIX client software of Veritas NetBackup BusinesServer 4.5 on a Compaq Alpha Server running Tru64 V5.1A. The installation appeared to be successful until I tried to unmount the CD from the system. I got the message "Device busy". I then tried to "view device info" through the Sysman tool and the system crashed and rebooted to the login screen. After this the CD was unmounted but I have encountered the same crash when trying to "view device info" through the Sysman tool. I have also found that Sysman Station cannot be activated. I get the error:
"Can't connect to X11 window server using '<HOSTNAME>:0.0' as the value of the DISPLAY variable".
So far I have found that xhost now has access control enabled whereas I believe that it was previously disabled. I think this might relate to the 'X11 window server' error.
Has anyone else encountered these problems? Are they related? Can anyone offer me any help?
All advice or help is appreciated,
Jon C
