Problems between CSS and Flash?

Hi,

I'm making a website using a lot of css, and i'm testing it on all possible browsers. It works fine on firefox, opera, avant etc, the only problem is on Internet Explorer. I have one small flash film (swf) in a page and when i place it the css menus i have simply slow down. Removing the flash makes the menus work fine. I've checked out for possible mistakes on the css with dreamweaver and i've found none for internet explorer 6. Does anyone ever heard of a similar problem??

Sounds odd ... Post some code (well, a link would be better) so we can troubleshoot.
