Hello,

Getting all kinds of Warnings when I reboot... I just upgraded Solaris 8 to Solaris 9 and I get the following when booting up:

aven Krtld: [ID 819705 kern.notice] /kernel/drv/ap: undefined symbol
aven Krtld: [ID 826211 kern.notice] 'prom_stack_fini'
aven Krtld: [ID 472681 kern, notice] WARNING: mod_load: cannot load module 'ap'
aven Krtld: [ID 819705 kern.notice] /kernel/drv/ap: undefined symbol
aven Krtld: [ID 826211 kern.notice] 'prom_stack_init'
aven Krtld: [ID 472681 kern, notice] WARNING: mod_load: cannot load module 'ap'
....
....
....
....

It shoots out a bunch of these notices and warnings... Above are just the first few of them... Any help or solutions would be much appreciated.... I have looked via Google on the internet and have found nothing that relates to this.... All I have really found is that it is something in regard to the "Alternate Pathing"....

Thanks
Angelo

You need the following patch Patch Id: 112233-12 after that you should be fine

Hey Segment - thanks for the input but I already have this patch installed on the system... After upgrading to Solaris 9 I installed the SunOS 5.9 Recommended Patches... Patch 112233-12 was successfully installed per the log....
Any other ideas would be appreciated...
Thanks
Angelo

AP is Alternate Pathing, isn't it?
Have a look at /etc/system, are there any forceloads? Drop them out or have a lokk at the install instructions for AP Software
