Problems after installing Office 2003 SP3

Hello everyone

Our cubes have been running about a year under excel 2003 sp2 with no problems whatsoever, so many users have created their own custom spreadsheets with different pivot tables based on different cubes...Several days ago we got installed Office 2003 SP3 and since then the sheets can no longer refresh, a weird database driver error comes up... The cubes work fine still under visual studio cube browser, and also excel 2007... It seems its the filtering part of some dimensions which is causing the problem... Any clues?
 
We have run into the exact same issue.

We having been successfully using SQL Server 2005 Sp2 Analysis Services data cubes for over a year. Users have been connecting to them using Excel 2003 SP2.

Ever since we rolled out Office 2003 SP3, users have been running into various problems working with data cubes. This ranges from not being able to connect at all, to not being able to filter data in certain ways.

All error messages are very vague and refer to problems with the OLEDB or database driver.
Users who are still using Office 2003 SP2 are not having any problems. Also, our test machines running Office 2007 have no problems.

The only solution I have found so far, was to uninstall and reinstall office.
