Problems adding audio clips - Premiere Elements 2.0

I am new to this software!! I have added my video clips to the timline and deleted the associated audio as I want to put some acomapnying music. When I add the first music clip all is OK. When i add a second clip it shifts the video clip along to the end of the music clip. How can i stop/resolve this.
