problems accessing subweb

Hello,
I have recently started making subwebs for my web site in order to make the whole thing smoother. I have already done one successfully but I am having problems with the second one I have made. Whenever I try to access that page from Internet Explorer I get an error message:You are not authorized to view this page
You might not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials you supplied.

Can someone please tell me how I can correct this? I didn't do anything different from the first one yet I am having this problem.

I too just had this same problem and found that when I went to Internet Explorer....Tools.....Internet Options....and then selected Content ....Disable, my problem went away.

Hi,

I also had this problem when trying to access my index (home page), imagine that! The previous response is a good basis to begin troubleshooting, in my particular case, after doing extensive troubleshooting it was determined that it was an action that required follow-up and correction by my hosting provider.

So, if after several failed attempts you are still without resolution, be sure to also check with your hosting provider.
