I'm having difficulties accessing an S8400 server through its service port. Here's what came up with the ping that I ran:

However, I never had that problem when I tried to access the included SIPI card through its own service port using the same cables, same PC and same addressing. I was able to log in normally, in fact.

Has anyone encountered this kind of issue? Could this be hardware-related? By the way, this is a new setup where the S8400 has not yet been remastered because of this. The two cards are inserted into a G600 cabinet and I followed every step from the installation guides to a T.

There's a quick fix for that if you own a screwdriver...

Thanks a lot redphone for that great tip! The serial number of the S8400 I was working on was not on the list, however this seems to be the only thing left to do before deciding a part replacement. Again, thanks a lot!

In addition, we did order a replacement, and the replacement had the same issue, so be wary of this course. We moved forward with the resolution presented in the PSN. Just FYI.

That did the trick! Now the server is up and running, thanks again guys!
