PROBLEMS ABOUT WIRELESS PHONES AT DMC8

Hý Everybody;

I have some problems about DMC8 Cards or maybe thýs problem ýs about wireless phones that I used.These phones are Sýemens Gigaset 4100 with concordant GAP protocol.


The problem is:

Whýle the phone ýs rýngýng when the user try to hang up he couldnt establýsh the call.

There might be problems with other phones than Nortels own.
It has to be both GAP and CAP compatible.

We have used Ericsson DT570 handset and that works fine!
DT400 or others don't.

But we are very restrictive when users want other handsets than Nortel sets.
this is because if you have problems you cant go to nortel and complain.

What patches are you using?
If you have problems, check patches!
Those you should have is p14000_4.11c (if it is an option 11) and P14005a7.11c P14005b7.11c P14005c7.11c
Remember that p14000_4.11c has to have a lower patch ID.
This is because it has to be inserted before the others at sysload.

Those mentioned is just dect patches.

Remeber to restart the dect cards after changing patches.
DISC/ENLC

Also use the latest firmware on the DMC8 cards.
This should be 47000206 or possibly 47000271

I INSERTED THE PATCHES ALL YOU SAID BEFORE.BUT THIS ISNT THE SOLUTION.


SO I THE FIRMWARE IS 47000203 .

HOW CAN I FIND THE OTHER FIRMWARES.

IF YOU HAVE CAN YOU SEND IT TO MY EMAIL.
