Avaya is recommending I upgrade to 4.2 from 4.1. Is there anything that I should be concerned about regarding this upgrade? We have had cases in the past where an upgrade fixes 2 or 3 issues, but then causes others.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

The 4.2 Should work much better our customer are running 4.2(4) or 4.2(12)there are only a few who have 4.1, this is because they had no problems.

The is a lot changed on SIP.

But you need to upgrade everything to the same level.

Why are Avaya recommending you upgrade? Is it to resolve an issue? If so then you need to balance fixing a issue you know you have against the possibility of new issues.
