Folks,
I’m trying to configure xntpd as a client on Solaris 7x86.
The client is not sending out any multicast or broadcast packets to the xntpd server. When I perform a snoop | grep -i ntp, I see nothing. This means the xntpd server is unable to respond with the correct time to the client.
Does anyone know why the client is not multicasting or broadcasting its time to the server? What else could I check to help trouble shoot the problem? This is the first time I have configured xntpd.
Thanks,
StickyBit.
