Hi All

I just helped a friend to set up a PC with the following:
Intel 820 2.8 ghz CPU
MSI PM8M2-V mainboard
1 Gb Kingston RAM
160 SATA HDD
DVD-RW, XFX 6200 AGP 256mb graphic card

The system has no problem installing win xp and everything works fine with windows default drivers (including the graphic card).

Problem arise with I install the XFX graphic card drivers, the system hang!

I have tried installing the latest chipset drivers and the problem persist.

Are there any known compatibility issues between the mainboard and the graphic card? Or am I missing out on something?

Any helps, suggestions and comments are most welcome.

Thank you all in advance.

i had that prob once with a dell, generic windows driver worked, as soon you installed graphic driver the system stopped. the reason was a faulty motherboard.

Hi Lemon
