Problem with workflow application

I have to develop a workflow application for exchange, using a web user interface, but I don't know how to do it. I am using Office XP developer for the development.
Can you guys please help me? Can you please tell me how to do it with Office XP developer or send me to a site enabled to show me a walkthrough for such applications?
