Hello,

I made my website in the 800 X 600 resolution on a gradient background. I centered the website which works nice on 1024 X .. resolution. But when I take 800 X 600 resolution I loose some information. How can i keep it centered.

You cannot.

When you centre something, it uses the same margin on the left as the right of the content. If the viewable area is less than the amount of data... then that data is left aligned and horizontal scroll bars appear that allow you to scroll to the right and see the rest of the content.

Cheers,
Jeff

Since you are using a fixed size, make the page narrower.

I normally work to 750px wide if doing this.

Also bear in mind, just because someone has a screen res of 1024x768 or more, they don't necessarily have their browser maximised.
