Problem with 'wakeonlan' on Linux Redhat 8.0

Hi,

For backup purposes I am trying to start a PC from another PC with the wakeonlan utility (

From a W98 SE box this is working fine (via the command perl wakeonlan 11:22:33:44:55:66).
The same program doesn't work from a Linux Redhat 8.0 box (same target PC). I tried both the perl option (same command as above) as well as the make version (compilation via make and make install).
All machines are in the same network.

Who can help me out with this?
